Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

Recruit Bridge is intended for student-athletes, parents, guardians, coaches, and other authorized users.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you represent that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use the Service.

2. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

• Provide accurate account information.
• Keep your password secure.
• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
• Use Recruit Bridge only for lawful purposes.

3. Subscription Plans & Billing

Some features require a paid subscription. Subscription fees are billed in advance and automatically renew until canceled.

• Subscriptions renew automatically.
• You may cancel at any time.
• Cancellation prevents future billing but does not automatically generate refunds.
• Payments are securely processed by Stripe. Recruit Bridge does not store your complete payment card information.

4. Gmail Integration

If you connect your Gmail account, you authorize Recruit Bridge to send email messages that you create and approve through the platform.

Recruit Bridge only requests the Gmail permission required to send email on your behalf.

Recruit Bridge does not read your inbox, access existing emails, monitor conversations, or analyze Gmail content.

Gmail access is used exclusively to send emails that you choose to send through the platform. Our use of Google user data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use Requirements.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Recruit Bridge responsibly and in compliance with all applicable laws.

• Do not send spam or unsolicited bulk email.
• Do not impersonate another individual.
• Do not harass or threaten others.
• Do not upload malware or malicious software.
• Do not interfere with the security of the Service.
• Do not use bots or automated systems to abuse the platform.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you create using Recruit Bridge, including email templates, campaigns, and profile information.

You are solely responsible for the legality, accuracy, and content of all communications sent through your account.

7. Intellectual Property

Recruit Bridge, including its software, branding, logos, graphics, and website content, is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Service without prior written permission.

8. Platform Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability.

Service interruptions may occur due to maintenance, software updates, internet outages, or circumstances beyond our control.

9. Account Suspension & Termination

You may delete your account at any time.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, misuse the Service, or attempt to compromise platform security.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

Recruit Bridge is provided "as is" and "as available."

We do not guarantee recruiting success, scholarship offers, coach responses, email delivery, or uninterrupted service.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Recruit Bridge shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Our maximum liability shall not exceed the greater of the amount you paid during the previous twelve months or $50 USD.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Recruit Bridge, its owners, employees, affiliates, and service providers from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois. Any legal disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate state or federal courts located in Illinois unless otherwise required by applicable law.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If material changes are made, we will provide notice through the website or by email. Continued use of Recruit Bridge after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
